देहरादून। मौसम विभाग ने इस वर्ष मानसून सीजन में सामान्य से अधिक बारिश होने का पूर्वानुमान जताया है। मौसम विभाग के निदेशक डॉ. बिक्रम सिंह के अनुसार इसकी संभावनाएं साठ फीसदी से अधिक हैं, इसलिए सभी विभागों को इसे ध्यान में रखते हुए अभी से अपनी तैयारियां शुरू कर देनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड में भी सामान्य से अधिक वर्षा होने का पूर्वानुमान है।
गुरुवार को उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण ;यूएसडीएमएद्ध की ओर से मानसून की तैयारियों को लेकर विभिन्न विभागों के लिए आयोजित प्रशिक्षण शिविर में डॉ. बिक्रम सिंह ने कहा कि मौसम विभाग मौसम संबंधी जानकारियों को लेकर लगातार एलर्ट भेजता है। इसका अनुपालन किया जाए तो आपदाओं के प्रभावों को काफी हद तक कम किया जा सकता है तथा जानमाल के नुकसान में भी कमी लाई जा सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि मौसम विभाग द्वारा इम्पेक्ट बेस्ड पूर्वानुमान जारी किया जा रहा है, जिससे विभिन्न विभागों को समय रहते अपनी-अपनी तैयारियां करने का पर्याप्त समय मिल जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि विभाग द्वारा मौसम की रियल टाइम मॉनीटरिंग भी की जा रही है, जिससे काफी हद तक सटीक पूर्वानुमान लगाना संभव है।
