केदारघाटी में अतिवृष्टि के चलते हुए नुकसान, रेस्क्यू एवं बचाव कार्यों, यात्रा को दोबारा शुरू करने को लेकर चल रही तैयारियों की समीक्षा करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी मंगलवार को रुद्रप्रयाग पहुंचे। इसके बाद उन्होंने अतिवृष्टि को लेकर संबंधित आधिकारियों तथा कर्मचारियों की समीक्षा बैठक ली। इससे पहले उन्होंने प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रिकॉर्ड समय में 15 हजार से अधिक यात्री एवं स्थानीय लोगों को हवाई तथा पैदल मार्गों से सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू किया गया है। अब रेस्क्यू अभियान पूर्ण हो चुका है।
