समीक्षा बैठक के पश्चात जानकारी देते हुए पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि जनपद देहरादून स्थित महासू देवता मन्दिर के विकास हेतु मास्टर प्लान के अन्तर्गत 02 चरणों में रू0 61.00 करोड और रू0 50.00 करोड़ अर्थात कुल रू0 111.00 करोड़ के कार्य प्रस्तावित किये गये हैं। जबकि महासू देवता के illumination और facade lighting के अन्तर्गत रू0 94.36 लाख की वित्तीय स्वीकृति प्रदान की गयी है। उन्होंने कहा कि जनपद टिहरी झील के आसपास के विकास हेतु एशियाई विकास बैंक (ADB) ने 601.204.00 करोड की फंडिंग को मंजूरी दे दी है। जिसके अन्तर्गत कोटी कॉलोनी से डोबरा चांटी ब्रिज तक 15.7 किमी लंबी पर्यटन सड़क जिसमें समर्पित साइक्लिंग ट्रैक, व्यू पॉइंट, समर्पित हॉकर क्षेत्र तथा कोटि कॉलोनी से तिवार गांव तक 450 मीटर लंबा ग्लास बॉटम पैदल यात्री सस्पेंशन ब्रिज आदि बनाया जायेगा।
