मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने रामपुर तिराहा में राज्य आंदोलन के शहीदों को दी श्रद्धांजलि
रामपुर तिराहा। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को शहीद स्थल रामपुर तिराहा में उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आन्दोलनकारी शहीदों की पुण्य स्मृति में शहीद स्मारक में पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने रामपुर तिराहा गोलीकांड में शहीद हुए प्रत्येक राज्य आंदोलनकारी की याद में शहीद स्थल रामपुर में उनकी प्रतिमा लगाए जाने की घोषणा की। मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद स्थल के लिये भूमि दान करने वाले दिवंगत महावीर शर्मा की प्रतिमा का भी शिलान्यास किया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शहीद राज्य आंदोलनकारियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए कहा कि शहीदों के बलिदान एवं परिश्रम से हमें उत्तराखंड राज्य प्राप्त हुआ है। पृथक उत्तराखंड राज्य के लिए चलाए गए आंदोलन के दौरान आंदोलनकारियों को अनेकों यातनाओं और अत्याचारों को सहना पड़ा था। 2 अक्टूबर 1994 को रामपुर तिराहे पर घटित हुए गोली कांड राज्य आंदोलन का सबसे क्रूर और गहरा जख्म देने वाला अध्याय रहा। शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से आंदोलन करने जा रहे आंदोलनकारियों पर हुए अत्याचारों से मिले घावों को कोई भी उत्तराखंडवासी भुला नहीं सकता।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड राज्य के निर्माण और बेहतर भविष्य के लिए आंदोलनकारियों ने अपना वर्तमान बलिदान कर दिया था। उत्तराखण्ड की जनता सदैव इन वीरों की ऋणी रहेगी। उन्होंने कहा राज्य निर्माण आंदोलन में राज्य की महिलाओं ने बढ़ चढ़कर भाग किया, राज्य की महिलाएं कभी अत्याचारों के आगे नहीं झुकी। जिस राज्य के निर्माण के लिए हमारे आंदोलनकारियों ने अपना सर्वस्व न्यौछावर दिए। राज्य सरकार उस उत्तराखंड को देश का सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाना हेतु रात दिन कार्यरत है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार शहीद आंदोलनकारियों के आदर्शों और उनके सपनों को साकार करने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है।विकल्प रहित संकल्प के मूलमंत्र पर चलते हुए उत्तराखंड में विभिन्न योजनाओं के जरिए राज्य के अंतिम छोर पर खड़े व्यक्ति तक विकास की धारा पहुंचाने के प्रयास जारी हैं। राज्य सरकार ने राज्य आंदोलनकारियों और उनके आश्रितों के लिए सरकारी नौकरियों में 10 प्रतिशत का क्षैतिज आरक्षण लागू किया है । शहीद आंदोलनकारियों के परिवारों को पेंशन देने के साथ ही, आंदोलन के दौरान जेल जाने वाले और घायल हुए सभी सक्रिय आंदोलनकारियों को प्रतिमाह पेंशन दी जा रही है। राज्य आंदोलनकारियों को बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा सुविधा भी प्रदान की जा रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पृथक राज्य की परिकल्पना में हमारे प्रदेश की डेमोग्राफी को संरक्षित रखने की चिंता भी शामिल थी। राज्य सरकार देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की डेमोग्राफी को संरक्षित रखने हेतु प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। डेमोग्राफी को संरक्षित करने का का दायित्व हर किसी ने निभाना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा राज्य में सख्त धर्मांतरण रोधी कानून लागू किया गया है। सरकारी भूमि से अतिक्रमण को हटाने का कार्य जारी है। अब तक 5000 एकड़ से अधिक सरकारी जमीन को अतिक्रमण से मुक्त करवाया गया है। राज्य में देश का सबसे कड़ा नकल विरोधी कानून और दंगा रोधी कानून भी लागू किया है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश के हर नागरिक को समान अधिकार देने उद्देश से समान नागरिक संहिता का अधिनियम पास किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा राज्य सरकार बहुत जल्द उत्तराखंड में सख्त भू-कानून को लाने की तैयारी कर रही है। जिसके लिए सभी स्टेकहोल्डर, विशेषज्ञों, आंदोलनकारियों से विचार विमर्श किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा नीति आयोग द्वारा जारी किए गए सतत् विकास लक्ष्यों की रैंकिंग में उत्तराखंड को पूरे देश में पहला स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। उत्तराखंड, निवेशकों की पहली पसंद बन रहा है जिसकी वजह से हमारे राज्य में बड़े पैमाने पर रोजगार के अवसर सृजित होने शुरु हो गए हैं। राज्य GDP की तर्ज पर GEP की गणना करने वाला देश का प्रथम राज्य बन गया है।
